The Heidi Ann Bucklin Memorial Scholarship is now accepting applications for senior girls at Columbia River High School. Details of the scholarship are at the career center for those interested, but here is the purpose and eligibility criteria. Be sure to pass the word onto someone you think should consider applying - thanks! "The recipient of the Heidi Ann Bucklin Memorial Scholarship will personify great sportsmanship and compassion, honor diversity and fairness, evoke trust and confidence in others. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a qualified graduating female senior from Columbia River High School who plans to pursue post secondary education in the field of health, education or social services and a career helping children and youth.” Eligibility Criteria:•A graduating FEMALE student from Columbia River High School•Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above (Student must provide an official high school transcript.)•A personal history of helping others gained through community service, volunteering or work experience•Participated in high school athletics for at least 3 years•Acceptance at an accredited two-year community college or four-year college, university or vocational technical school•College enrollment in the fall immediately following high school graduation•Demonstration of financial need
